I didn’t have a scale to weigh the turkey so I think I added more than a pound. It was just a big bowl of meat with no flavor. And the cranberries were awkward. I thought it was ruined (I wanted to make a flawless apple pie) but it turned out so even it looks intentional. And now there’s this caramelized goodness that makes getting to the crust more exciting.
